I love how versatile this project can be. Rather than creating a gradient for the sky, it can be a bold, solid blue. Or, if your sky needs more color, create your perfect twilight by adding in purples, pinks, or oranges with blending and feathering techniques. To create a beautiful gradient sky, choose at least three blues that are of the same hue but different tints and shades. This tutorial shows a blend of five colors that will be applied to create a rounded fish-eye effect to illustrate depth and distance.
